The parenting website mom.me and Cinefix teamed up to produce a "Kid Oscar" video featuring young children reenacting Oscar-nominated movies. Credit: mom.me

Take "The Wolf of Wall Street," "Captain Phillips” and other Oscar-nominated movies and ask kids to re-enact some of the scenes. What do you get? Adorable little ones wearing fake mustaches, wigs and other costumes as they recite lines (in their own words) from the movies.

These kids get a nod -- and a chuckle -- from us. Nothing beats watching young children re-enact scenes involving controversy and crime, historical drama and suspense.
