Christie Brinkley sells jewelry on QVC

You’ll see a familiar megawatt smile on TV this Sunday night, as supermodel Christie Brinkley pitches her own collection of fine jewelry, the Christie Brinkley Jewelry Collection, which she created especially for QVC.
Airy and lovely and sparkly, the line which includes bracelets, dangling earrings, necklaces and cocktail rings set with gemstones such as blue topaz and moonstone is, says a press release, “reminiscent of the ocean waves near her Hamptons home.”
Oh yes, that would be the 11-bedroom, 9-bath, 20-acre estate known as Tower Hill, that Brinkley’s had on the market since 2002, and has been priced at $30 million since 2007. No real bites on the property, (only “nibbles,” she said) so the model decided to keep the luxe pad for now, issuing a statement through her assistant, “Our precious home sweet home is not for sale.”
Shucks, since you can’t have the house, perhaps second best will be a Hamptons-inspired bauble. Much easier on the pocketbook with prices ranging from about $50 for quartz and sapphire blue earrings to $385 for a chunky multi-gemstone bracelet.
