According to his mom, Joye, Christian Siriano’s business has become “a well-oiled machine.  It frees him up to be more creative.”

Witness the Project Runway alum’s most sophisticated take on wardrobing yet.  There were fabulous leather pieces – one cognac wing-sleeved jacket worn over a strapless pleated gown – killer.  For gals who like prints, there were plenty  – snake, crocodile, giraffe and a geometric “temple” pattern – lovely.

Though Siriano offered many wearable looks on his runway, he (and we're happy about this) still takes massive flights of fancy – a turquoise and brown printed balloon gown and a sci-fi paprika ruffled tulle confection defied gravity.

Oh, yes, and let's not forget Siriano's shoes designed for Payless. Giant, graphic, inspired by cultural influences from Africa, India and China -- these kicks are only for fearless fashionista – scary chic – and not for hiking.
