Highlights of Fashion's Night Out
Friday’s second annual Fashion’s Night Out is like one big shopping party. In New York City (along with cities across the globe), stores stay open late (usually 10 or 11 p.m.), the bubbly pours, discounts abound and designers and celebs perform, sign autographs, play pingpong — you name it. Tommy Hilfiger celebrates his 25th anniversary in the biz by hosting a concert with the Grammy-winning band Train; Hilfiger and Train will sign autographs, or catch the designer later at his flagship store (681 Fifth Ave.) for bites, bevs and monograms stitched on purchases while you shop; 5:30 to 8 p.m. Macy’s Herald Square.
At Bloomingdale’s flagship on 59th Street, every floor has action: LI’s Alexa Ray Joel sings on 2, “True Prep” author Lisa Birnbach signs books on 3, Tadashi decorates cookies on 5, and much more; 5:30 to 11 p.m.

DJs rock out on every floor at Saks Fifth Avenue’s Manhattan flagship, every hour, as you party with Donna Karan (5 p.m.), play bingo with Karolina Kurkova or take dance lessons with Zac Posen (6 p.m.), hear cellist Danny Bensi’s interactive music (7 p.m.), shoot darts with Simon Spurr (9 p.m.), play Pictionary with Christian Siriano (10 p.m.); 5 to 11 p.m.
