New stores coming to Tanger Outlets in 2026

Buzzworthy new stores and restaurants are adding fresh energy to Tanger Outlets in Deer Park and Riverhead in 2026.
Recent arrivals and upcoming openings at the shopping hubs set the scene for "another dynamic year of retail for Long Island," Bibbit Mason, senior vice president of leasing at Tanger, tells Newsday in a statement. "Our focus," she adds, "is to bring in the latest brands — both national and local — that resonate with our shoppers."

Jessica Ferreira, 51, a stay-at-home mom and scout leader in East Quogue who’s a regular visitor at Tanger Riverhead, welcomes that. "I like having the one-stop shop convenience," she says. "It’s helpful when you’re busy. It’s also nice to support local businesses."
Alongside the new Toys R Us, which Mason says has drawn "a huge community response" since launching at Deer Park in November, additions to the Tanger portfolio pack multidimensional appeal.
The lineup includes family entertainment center Main Event, outerwear specialist Canada Weather Gear, and Baseball Lifestyle 101, a brand celebrating sports culture through apparel and accessories.
Krafty Hands, which opened in November at Tanger Riverhead, brings creative face-to-face fun to the retail roster. The shop specializes in children’s birthday parties, art classes and activities for kids and adults, and DIY projects. Grab a paintbrush, and get busy.

Franchisee Nicole Foley, a former teacher and day care operator who lives on the East End, finds the mall’s collective spirit especially appealing. "I like that there are family-oriented events," she says. "It’s exciting to be part of something that’s community-minded."
At Loide & Co., a Tanger Riverhead candle shop that opened in October, owner Loide DiPippa, 32, a former ultrasound technician, views her business as a community hub.

"We mostly do evening events, since many people work during the day," she says. "I like bringing people together."

Legos and Barbies and Hot Wheels, oh my! The iconic toy retailer is back on Long Island with its first stand-alone store since closing in 2018, offering a wide selection of toys and games for every age and interest. Canada Weather Gear

Main Event
Fun goes next-level. Opening this spring in its first New York spot, this family-friendly venue for all ages features bowling, multilevel laser tag, immersive arcades, billiards, gravity ropes, plus chef-driven eats and craft drinks; mainevent.com.

The brand champions bold athletic innovation through basketball shoes, sneakers and apparel that embody Nike’s "Just Do It" motto.
