Twilight Saga: The clothes
Even before “Sex and the City 2” hits theaters, buzz is building for another big-screen fashion event. That would be the late June debut of “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.”
Getting a jump on things, Nordstrom launches it’s Twilight-themed collection for pre-order online this week (in stores June 4) with pieces it says reflect the style of the film’s two main gals--Bella and Alice.
I confess to not having been caught up in the vampire hysteria (they creap me out, if you must know). But I gather from a little quick research that Alice is the fashionable one of the pair. I read somewhere that she would never ever wear anything more than once, so apparently there’s a little Carrie Bradshaw in her.
On other hand, Bella appears to be a somewhat down-to-earth (and perhaps always cold), going for lots of leather jackets and lumberjack shirts.

MOVIE TRAILER: "Twilight: Eclipse"
The Nordstrom collection leans toward a tween audience, with lots of tees ($32) a cute, kickly plaid dress ($52) and jeans ($58). The store is also selling a makeup line (there’s a product called Twilight Lip Venom...I don’t want to know) and lifesize cardboard cutouts, $33 each, of Bella, Alice, Edward and Jacob.
More fashion news from the flick: Actor Boo Boo Stewart, who’ll play Seth Clearwater in “Eclipse,” has a line of sneakers called Graffeeti. Very cool--they’re like dry-erase boards so they can be decorated and redecorated every day with the six pens that are included, $43.99 to $44.99 at graffeeti.com.
For true Twi-hards (who also happen to be ready to tie the knot, with a human, we hope) there’s even an engagement ring. Better yet, it was designed by Twilight author Stephenie Meyer to resemble the one Edward gave Bella. It can be had for various prices, from $35 for a costume version, to nearly $2,000 for the real thing in gold and diamonds at infinitejewelry.com.
