New Year's Eve 2025 concerts, comedy shows and events on Long Island

Celebrate the end of 2025 with a night filled with live music, comedy shows, town ball drops and even a few rounds of bowling.
Here are local venues hosting New Year's Eve parties to ring in 2026:
New Year's Eve ball drops and rises

Ring in the New Year outdoors at the gazebo as the ball drops in Lindenhurst (Village Square, 116 N. Wellwood Ave., 631-957-7500). Head to Farmingdale for a family-friendly early ball drop celebration with a ball lighting, live music, free hot cocoa and ball drop at 8 p.m. (Farmingdale Village Green, 361 Main St., 516-249-0093, farmingdalevillage.com). Watch the ball rise for 2026 at 8 p.m. in Patchogue at the intersection of West Main Street and West Avenue, followed by fireworks; New ground is being broken in Huntington this year as the village is starting what may become tradition with the launch of "The Spectacular New Year’s Eve Drone Show" on Wall Street (Wall Street, Huntington). Sky Elements, a nationwide drone company that holds 16 Guinness World Record titles, will launch 200 remote control drones over 100 feet in the air above the parking lot across from the Huntington Post Office.

'Fly Me to the Croon: A Swingin’ New Year’s Eve' at CM Performing Arts Center

The concert features music made famous by the crooners who made up the "Rat Pack" (Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr.), accompanied by a live band to help you count down to midnight. Look for hits like "New York, New York," "Fly Me to the Moon" and "Rock Around the Clock."

The event puts the focus on the disco era featuring dance music performed by That '70's Band. The group highlights the hits of Earth, Wind and Fire, The Commodores, Donna Summer, KC and the Sunshine Band and the Bee Gees. Guests can watch a livestream of the Times Square ball drop.
