Almond, Channing Daughters wine dinner in Bridgehampton

Channing Daughters' wines and Almond restaurant's food highlight a dinner Thursday at the Bridgehampton restaurant.
Cost: $65, plus tax and tip. Dinner starts at 7 p.m.
Almond earned a three-star rating in Newsday. Executive chef Jason Weiner's menu will include a salad of endive, Bosc pears and candied walnuts; Peconic Bay scallops with cauliflower sformato, a relative of the souffle, and poached egg; rack of lamb with caramelized salsify, collard greens and anchovy-herb butter and a warm pear cake with cassis sorbet.
The contributions from Channing Daughters Winery, based in Bridgehampton, include the house's 2010 Sylvanus white wine, 2007 L'Enfant Sauvage Chardonnay, 2006 Mudd red blend, and 2004 Pazzo, a fortified dessert wine.
