One day there, the next day gone.

Amalfi at Claudio’s, which opened July 9 at the iconic Claudio’s Waterfront complex in Greenport, announced Thursday that it has closed. The summer residence would have marked an expansion of the Amalfi Coastal Kitchen concept to the North Fork, extending its original footprint which began in Hampton Bays in 2024. That expansion was short-lived.

A press statement from Claudio’s reads:

“Amalfi's holiday pop-up run at Claudio's is wrapping up for the season. Amalfi is an established, well-regarded brand with its home base in Hampton Bays, and while there was potential for the concept to continue at Claudio's Marina through the season and beyond, Sal Biundo and Claudio’s ownership ultimately decided it was best to keep this engagement to a short run.”

Claudio’s, the East End’s favorite summer party destination, has featured several pop-ups over the years, most recently, Common Country East and Charlie Boy in 2025. With the news of Amalfi leaving the property, “the team has decided that the best next step is to put this incredible space to use for events and catering.”
