When Bay Shore's 18-year-old Milk & Sugar Cafe closed last year, its owners took the place down to the studs and resurrected their business as Barn Door 49 -- a gastropub with a farmhouse vibe, sustainably sourced meat and seafood, and excellent craft cocktails and beers.
