Blue Canoe has sunk.

The Greenport oyster bar and grill, which had been at 104 Third St., won’t be back for the new season.

In a Facebook message, the restaurant addressed its “valued guests” and advised that it “will not be reopening,” adding, “Thank you for all your love and support over the last three years.”

Diners were directed to Blue Canoe’s associated restaurant, Vine Street Café on Shelter Island, and its related food truck there. If you call the old Blue Canoe phone number, you contact Vine Street Café.

Blue Canoe was known for its local oysters, fried oysters, oyster po’boys, lobster-salad rolls, and sushi rolls. You also could order pulled pork, baby back ribs, and smoked Korean-style chicken wings.

Vine Street Café is at 41 S. Ferry Rd., Shelter Island; 631-749-3210, vinestreetcafe.com
