Cinema Arts Centre and an ode to the good bad movie

"Troll 2" was dubbed the worst movie ever made, which is pretty harsh considering all the drivel that has hit theaters in the past few years.

It was released in 1990 as a horror flick starring a bunch of unknown actors from Utah. In the next 20 years, it gained cult status for its awfulness.

But now comes "Best Worst Movie," a documentary that chronicles the stories of the people who made this movie. It's directed by Michael Paul Stephenson, the same Michael Paul Stephenson who played the "Troll 2" lead character, Joshua Waits.

Cinema Arts Centre in Huntington will be showing "Best Worst Movie" on Wednesday, Sept. 22, at 7:30 p.m. There's also a live discussion (via Skype) with Stephenson.
