East Wind Bridal Show in Wading River

If you wondered what it would be like to have a wedding at East Wind Caterers, Inn and Spa in Wading River, here’s your chance to find out. For a tiny $15, you can attend its Bridal Show from noon-3 p.m. Jan. 9.

Why would you want to?  So you can enjoy the food, the salon, the vendors, the grounds.

This destination wedding spot has guest rooms, an indoor pool, restaurant and pub, three buildings for weddings, a florist, gift and jewelry shop.

“We usually book weddings one to two years in advance,” says Ann Corley, director of marketing.  

The average price for a wedding at this 26-acre facility — $15,000. And, you’ll be happy to know that they don’t overbook, allowing only one wedding at each site per day.
