February 'Pool Party' at Cue Nine

Now that we’re past the Super Bowl and back to actually finding things to do on Sundays, this deal couldn’t come at a better time.

From 7 to 11 p.m. on Feb. 13, Cue Nine in Levittown has a deal that scores you four hours of billiards, drinks and a buffet, plus a live DJ and lots of felt-frying action as some of the biggest names in pool come by to show off their skills -- all for only $35.

It’s a charity event, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Little Shelter Animal Rescue and Adoption Center, Huntington’s non-profit, no-kill animal shelter for companion animals. Knowing that, you may want to invest some more dough -- and you can do so by taking part in a silent auction of sports memorabilia or by buying $50 raffle tickets (the grand prize is a Olhausen & Century billiards table valued at $4,700).

Sound like enough? Well there’s more -- scheduled highlights include exhibitions from trick-shot master Andy "The Magic Man" Segal and nationally-ranked player Tony "Silent Assassin" Robles plus a demo from the Women’s National 8-Ball Team champions, “Kiss of Death.”

This is an all-ages evening, and tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door.
