Although the summer jet-setters have mostly returned to their off-Long Island enclaves at this point, there are still plenty of parties happening around the East End. For those looking for some Halloween fun without having to head up-island (or for those looking for something to do in the Hamptons come the end of October), here are some get-togethers for your consideration:

‘The End Is Here’ at Solé East & The Backyard in Montauk

To close the season, this especially-hip hotel and restaurant is doing its Halloween party on Saturday, Oct. 29, at 8 p.m. All attending should dress in scary holiday fashion, as the winner of the ‘Best Costume’ contest scores a free weekend stay. Guests can grab free bar food, as well as take on a “witches grog” brew while checking out live performances. There’s no cover, and furthermore rooms will be priced at $99 and $129 for the night.

’Nightmare on Main Street Halloween Party’ at Indian Wells Tavern in Amagansett

Also set for Saturday, Oct. 29, starting at 9 p.m. this busy local pub will have a DJ on-hand to spin m(from 10 p.m.-2 a.m.), in addition to the buffet, prizes and drink specials scheduled for the night. Cover is $5 with costume, $10 without -- and don’t forget: the always-jumping Stephen Talkhouse is only a quick walk away, and on the same evening, bands Miles To Dayton (8 p.m.) and Celtic Cross (10 p.m.) are both playing for a $10 charge each.

‘12th Annual Rowdyween’ at Rowdy Hall in East Hampton

Over in East Hampton, head down the alley into the Parrish Mews to this true scary night bash taking place on Oct.31. It all starts at 7 p.m. with drink specials ($5 well drinks and $5 drafts) and live music from Little Head Thinks. Be sure and wear a costume as $500 in cash prizes will go toward participating patrons (first prize is $300,  $125 for second place and $75 for third place); tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door (both include a drink ticket and food).

‘Day Of The Dead’ at Phao in Sag Harbor

A drive up Rt.114 will take you to this Thai spot that parties every weekend, but come Saturday, Oct. 29, at 10:30 p.m. things are scheduled to kick into high gear with a costume contest (that starts at midnight) that will bring a $200 cash prize to the top guise, and a $100 Phao gift certificate to the first runner-up. Cover is $5 (watch the venue’s Facebook page for a soon-to-be-revealed password for free admission) and drink specials include $5 draft pints and shots of Sauza-brand tequila.

The Driver’s Seat in Southampton is featuring live music from Joe Delia & the Thieves on Friday, Oct. 28, at 8 p.m. (no masks allowed but costumes are fine), while Casey’s in Westhampton Beach should see its usual younger crowd pile in on Saturday, October 29 for drink specials plus dance beats from DJ PM.
