Way back in my younger days carousing on the Long Island bar scene, my boys and I hit a club the night before Thanksgiving.

It's the biggest party night of the year, we thought to ourselves. Yeah, that also means bars and clubs will charge crazy covers to get in, and you'll pay it. Of course, most of them run some nice drink specials early in the night.

The night's highlight came after we got the first round of drinks, when the friend who bought them did some impressive short math. "Great, I just spent $34 for one beer." Dagger.

Props to the bar owners and bartenders on Thanksgiving Eve. They make enough bank to carry them through the entire year.

Still, Thanksgiving Eve is a fun night, and we suggest you enjoy yourself and urge you to party responsibly. Designate a driver. Party near a train station. Program a few cab company phone numbers into your cell phone before you go.

Below, you'll find some links to help you navigate the biggest party night of the year.
