Ever since its arrival in 2009, McFadden’s RVC has been a top destination for the 30-and-under crowd, drawing hundreds of people weekly from around the Island and Queens, aided in its popularity by its close proximity to the Rockville Centre LIRR station.

The spot throws all sorts of casual affairs, but the party planned for Saturday, Jan. 12, may be its most “relaxed” yet, as it will be hosting a special bash that will ask its attendees to wear their trendiest outfits…for bed.

Starting at 9 p.m., McFadden’s will invite all to its “Lights Out Slumber Party,” requesting guests wear pajamas rather than whatever fashion they might normally choose for nightlife garb (the staff will be similarly dressed). In return, anyone who decides to don their PJs will be granted both free admission and a complimentary first drink until midnight. There will also be drink specials, and a midnight pillow fight (for ladies only), with the apex cushion champion granted a $50 bar tab.

Age of admission is 21 and older; anticipate a $5-$10 cover charge for passing on the unique dress code bid or missing the 12 a.m. deadline. Music and entertainment by DJ C Mos and MC Johnny Shine; for more information check out mcfaddensrvc.com or facebook.com/mcfaddens.rockvillecentre.
