While watching some bad TV last night, a commercial for Opus Casino Cruise Lines caught my attention. A call to the listed number (877-321-OPUS) gave me the basics: they're not open yet, they'll launch in the next couple of weeks, the rest is online.

So what is the rest?

Per the website, Opus, which departs from Freeport (395 Woodcleft Ave.), will have close to 400 gaming positions, including both slots (from one penny slots on up) and table games -- Craps, Roulette, Blackjack, Three Card Poker, Mini-Baccarat and Texas Hold'em. There will also be live entertainment and fully stocked bars.

You must be 21 to board. It costs $35 per person, a price that includes a meal. Prior to cruising, parking is available at no extra charge.

That's all I've got... for now. Once the cruise line opens we might have to send one of our LOL bloggers to check out the scene.
