Noisy restaurants with good food

Not everybody longs for serenity when going out to eat. In fact, some people see a quiet restaurant as boring. So, for those who need the din with dinner, we give you these three spots where the food rates and eardrums pulsate:
It's a blast, literally, when the band is cranking and the decibel meter hits the 100 mark. Still, the crowd at this decades-old country-and-western spot eats it all up, along with the gumbo, biscuits and BBQ.

At this high-volume trattoria, it's best to lose yourself in the linguine with clams, lasagna rollatini or baked peaches. Sure beats straining your vocal cords on a busy night.
2950 Middle Country Rd., Nesconset, 631-265-8200
The Italian name of this reverberating restaurant translates as "crazy bull," which should clue you in right there on what to expect. Not so crazy: a golden beet salad, tagliatelle with shrimp and vegetables, and signature roasted chicken with hot and sweet peppers.
753 Wantagh Ave., Wantagh, 516-731-8700
The cellphone app measuring decibels hovers at rackety -- and it's only a weeknight. At Uva Rossa in Malverne, every seat at the bar and communal table is occupied; the attractive wood and brick dining room virtually pulsates. The draw here is Italianate small plates, plus a few entree-size dishes.
