Halloween parties may bring out big crowds, and New Year’s Eve is always a busy night -- but when it comes to pub parties, St. Patrick’s Day is peerless.

Although usually unrelated to the religious observances and cultural history of the Feast of Saint Patrick, every year March 17 proves to be a day people head out to behave festively, whether of Irish descent or otherwise.
