Halloween parties may bring out big crowds, and New Year’s Eve is always a busy night -- but when it comes to pub parties, St. Patrick’s Day is peerless.
Although usually unrelated to the religious observances and cultural history of the Feast of Saint Patrick, every year March 17 proves to be a day people head out to behave festively, whether of Irish descent or otherwise.
“SPD” (“St. Patrick’s Day”) gatherings take place at practically every LI establishment that serves drinks in some fashion -- but for a head’s up on Suffolk County spots that have definite bashes set to mark the occasion, here are some considerations:
