If you are out on a regular basis, heading to the bars, clubs, lounges and restaurants to enjoy the nightlife Long Island has to offer -- we can relate.

Along the way you may start making friends with the people who make the parties and events possible -- the owners, managers, bartenders, security, waitstaff and DJs. If you'd like to take part in a special evening with many of these people, grab yourself a ticket to the first-ever Long Island Hospitality Ball.

Taking place at 7 p.m. Monday, March 21, at Carlyle On The Green in Farmingdale, the event features lots of eats, treats and beats. The evening includes sample dishes provided by chefs representing several of the Island's top kitchens along with cocktails created by mixologists who are otherwise found behind some of the hottest bars.

As for entertainment, international star (but Melville born) Kim Sozzi and super cover band The Mystic will perform, while such A-list DJs as Theo Pisani, Carlos Melange, Jason Ojeda, Peter “Razor” Osback (of Razor & Guido) and Dimitri Tee all take turns spinning dance and party music .

Tickets are $100 in advance, $125 at the door and include all your food and drink from 7 p.m. to midnight. The proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

Jackets, ties and cocktail attire are a must.

And if you are truly of hearty stock and need even more nightlife (on a Monday! You are good), the after-party is being held at Four Food Studio in Melville.
