If you can appreciate a nice beer, a glass of wine or some good old fashioned BBQ, you should check out the annual North Fork Craft Beer, BBQ & Wine Festival at Martha Clara Vineyards in Riverhead on August 14 from 2-6 p.m..

Featuring 50 of the finest craft breweries in the country, plus food from Maple Tree BBQ, the event is sure to keep you entertained (or at least tipsy) with samples and showcases throughout the day.

For the price of general admission, $50 online now or $70 at the door, you get to enjoy a souvenir tasting glass marked with a two ounce pour line, beer tastings, a BBQ sandwich with a side dish and attendance to any of the special events. Although food is provided in the price, more food will be available throughout the day for purchase.

There is also a VIP ticket package for $75. In addition to all of the perks listed above, VIP members will be given an additional hour (from 1 p.m. - 2 p.m.) and the chance to talk to brewers and taste beers that will not be available during the regular session. VIP tickets are only available as pre-sale tickets online.

If drinking isn't your thing but you still wanna check out the fun, you can buy a $12 Designated Driver ticket. This will get you a BBQ sandwich and side dish, a bottle of water and admission to the special programming events during the day.

One of the main events of the days is a Samuel Adams Beer Lover's Choice 2010 contest. This will give Long Islanders the chance to taste two potential new Samuel Adams beers, a Belgian Style OPA and an American Rye Ale, and have a voice in choosing the beer to be introduced the coming year.

All ticket information can be found here. Note: you must be 21 with a valid picture ID to get in.
