While the Hamptons may be the hot topic of the summer months, don't forget that a bit of the outdoor, upscale lifestyle found on patios and decks east of the Shinnecock Canal as well -- even in the middle of the busiest parts of Nassau County.

Returning for its third season, Body English Tuesdays at The Chateau Briand Reception and Catering Hall in Carle Place will go down every Tuesday at 9 p.m. until September.

While the second night of the workweek isn't usually the time to find a fabulous gathering, this venue that's better known for weddings and bar mitzvahs has brought in thousands of pretty and pleasantly dressed patrons to party on a consistent basis during the two previous summers.

And yes -- this is Carle Place -- and although the stretch of Old Country Road between The Source mall and the Roosevelt Field mall may seem unlikely for a Miami-styled setting, upon entering Chateau Briand, the shopping center setting across the street quickly fades away. Short palm trees and a gurgling waterfall greet guests upon entry -- while inside there is a DJ-driven indoor lounge armed with a circular bar, followed by an outdoor space complete with daybeds and tables. As for obscuring the outside world, the courtyard is wrapped in walls about 9 feet to 10 feet high that connect to the tall Briand building at the center of the sky view.

But the upscale style doesn't end with the scenery, because those who consider table service a necessity of any luxurious summer event will find the hospitality amenity available as well. Bottle prices range from various flavored Absolut vodka at $125, to the priciest  -- Johnny Walker Blue Label -- at $675. For reservations, call 516-724-5001 or email info@lipromotiongroup.com.
