Georgio Testani, one of the metropolitan area’s most experienced coffee roasters and merchants, has moved his shop from Jericho Turnpike in Huntington Station to New Highway in Farmingdale.

The new space is about three times larger than the old space, which means that all of the roasting can be done on the premises. Testani’s fine coffees, sourced from plantations all over the world, are available for sale, as is coffee prepared via drip, siphon, espresso machine and cold-brew methods. And either Testani or his wife, Lydia, is on hand to educate customers on every facet of the growing, trading, roasting and brewing of coffee.

The shop officially opened for business on Monday, but Testani said that he was helping customers all last week while he was unpacking and setting up. Hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekdays, 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. Georgio’s Coffee Roasters is at 1965 New Highway, Farmingdale; 516-238-2999.
