Lucky Levittown. It has gotten a major jolt of flavor and color with the opening of Sabor a Colombia.

It's almost a given that Colombian restaurants have a way with rotisserie-roasted chicken; this place upholds the tradition with pride and panache. At a recent dinner, a whole bird (a bargain at $7.65) was mahogany-skinned, its lively marinade permeating every juicy fiber of meat. Then, there was “consommé grande,” a rich chicken soup made with giblets, vegetables and chopped fresh cilantro.

The menu, which features lots of meat and seafood choices, also has a range of breakfast dishes — like fried eggs with arepas (corn cakes) and cheese — available daily until noon. And then there’s this curiosity: a roster of crepes is featured until 3 p.m. Monday to Friday. Choose from such varieties as crepes stroganoff with pork and mushrooms and “crepes Hawainos” with ham, cheese and, yes, pineapple.

Sabor a Colombia is at 26 Division Ave., Levittown, 516-513-1520
