Though the pandemic is hitting its ninth month, these discounts for health care and hospitality workers are still as valid as ever.

Here are five places to catch a break:

Outback Steakhouse (multiple locations): Nurses, doctors, medical staff, police, firefighters and first responders get 10% off their check all day, every day. The offer excludes alcohol and valid ID must be shown. Call ahead for hours. More info: outback.com

ZA (2 North Park Ave., Rockville Centre): This late-night pizzeria is providing hospital staff, police, firefighters and EMS workers with 10% off their checks. It's open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays from 5 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Thursdays to Saturdays it's open from 5 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. (It's other location is at 3601 Merrick Rd., Seaford; 516-785-5283.) Organic Krush (multiple locations): Michelle Walrath and Fran Paniccia, the women behind this health-focused eatery, are offering a 10% discount to health care workers who show their ID.
