Reserve restaurant has taken up residency on the corner of W. Jericho Turnpike and Jones Lane in Huntington, offering New-American-meets-French cuisine in a chic bi-level dining room. Jewel tones of emerald green, white and gold with wooden accents accentuate the dining area, while the bar space features royal blue and black tilework.

Steaks, seafood and pasta dishes, along with pizza, burgers and salads do the ground work at lunch and dinner, while eggs Benedict, avocado toast, quiche Lorraine and the like are available for brunch.

Lunch prices range from $18 for smoked brisket tacos to $32 for steak toast, an espresso, chocolate and chili rubbed steak with cabernet onions, confit garlic toast, greens, pecan romesco, bourbon caramel and buttered potatoes. Dinner starts at $18 for a Caesar salad and taps out at $132 for a 36-ounce porterhouse.

Dessert could be cheesecake, chocolate cake or a cookie skillet. But there's also the $42 “Reserve" Cherry Tree described as a spun sugar confection with a dark chocolate trunk and edible flowers in a bed of chocolate cherry mousse.

As for cocktails, Reserve's 24 Karat Martini may be a conversation starter. It features your choice of bubbly poured over spun sugar that’s topped with 24K gold flakes.

A DJ spins every Friday and Saturday from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Reserve is open Mondays from noon to 8 p.m.; Wednesdays and Thursdays from noon to 9 p.m.; Fridays from noon to 11 p.m.; Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.; and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. then again from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Bar stays open until 1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
