Painting with Paper: Capturing the Holidays Through Paper Cutting & Paper Mosaic Tiles

Dec14

Fostering creativity in beginning artists often requires thoughtful immersion into new mediums. Dating as far back as 6th century China, the art of paper cutting has been used across many cultures for decorations, devotional art, and general artistic expression. In this holiday themed workshop, students will be given instruction on how to use familiar items like paper cardstock, glue and scissors to represent form and texture to create giftable compositions just in time for the holidays.
