Andrew Alonge, 25, of Wood Street, is charged with second-degree robbery and is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday at First District Court in Hempstead.
Police said Alonge entered the Valero station at 192 E. Sunrise Hwy. just before 8 p.m. Armed with a black handgun, he demanded money from two clerks, both men, police said.
