Chaki M. Logon charged with robbing 7-Eleven, Mobil in Riverhead, cops say

A homeless man was arrested Thursday afternoon and charged with robbing two Riverhead businesses last month, authorities said.
Chaki M. Logon, 33, was found at a Mastic residence and charged in connection with the holdup of 7-Eleven on Dec. 15 and of a Mobil gas station on Dec. 16, both on Old Country Road, police said.
He was charged with first-degree robbery and third-degree robbery, police said.
Other details, including whether he was arraigned, were not released and the detectives on the case were not available Thursday night.
