Dozens of new cars vandalized in Bethpage Advantage Hyundai lot, cops say
Nassau County police are searching for the suspect or suspects who they said damaged 72 new cars last week in a Bethpage storage lot owned by Advantage Hyundai.
The vandalism occurred at the lot on Stewart Avenue sometime between last Monday and Wednesday, police said. Damage included broken headlights, fog lights, marker lights, fenders, quarter panels and bumpers.
The estimate for the damage suffered is about $32,000, police said.
Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-8477.
