Cops: Police charge man in Mastic Beach fatal shooting

Almost four months after police found 24-year-old Justin Liggon shot to death on a Mastic Beach street, they have arrested the 22-year-old Mastic man they said killed him.
Justin Rojas of 55 Tonopan St. was arrested Wednesday by Suffolk County Police and charged with second-degree murder for the shooting of Liggon on Sept. 22. Rojas is scheduled for arraignment Thursday in First District Court in Central Islip, police said.
Police did not say what led them to Rojas and did not detail the motive for the shooting.
Liggon, of 150 Meadowmere Rd., Mastic Beach, was found dead in the street at 12:43 a.m. by officers responding to a 911 call of shots fired at Commack Road and Maywood Drive.
