Centenarian: Lucy McKie

Lucy McKie, née Emanuele, was born June 9, 1910, in Bath Beach, Brooklyn. She married Salvatore Perniciaro in 1929 and had three children, Vincent, August (now deceased) and Salvatore Jr. Lucy was widowed after 39 years. In 1977 she wed David McKie and was widowed after 261/2 years. She has eight grandchildren (one is deceased), 24 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Lucy has lived at Strathmore Gate in Stony Brook since 1990. She celebrated her birthday with a party at her granddaughter's house in Mount Sinai. Lucy enjoys being with family and socializing with friends.
