2 arrested in Lynbrook hotel on prostitution charges, police say

Two women were arrested in a prostitution sting in Lynbrook on Saturday night, Nassau County police said.
Ashley M. Vigliante, 26, of Albany, was arrested at around 10 p.m. after police said she agreed to perform sexual acts with an undercover detective at a motel in exchange for cash.
Later, at that same motel, police arrested Shantol Barrington, 18, of Cambria Heights, after they said she also agreed to perform sexual acts with the detective for cash.
Vigliante and Barrington were each charged with prostitution and issued an appearance ticket. They are due in First District Court in Hempstead on July 3.
