Two police officers in a Nassau County police vehicle were injured Monday night when they were involved in a minor auto accident, police said.

The officers were transported to a hospital with minor injuries for precautionary reasons, a police spokesman said.

About 8:34 p.m., police got a call of a police car involved in an accident at Charles Lindbergh Boulevard and Earle Ovington Boulevard, near the Nassau Coliseum.
