Two men were injured early Saturday afternoon when their vehicles collided in North New Hyde Park, Nassau County police said.

An 81-year-old man driving a 2002 Mercury collided with a 2000 Chevrolet driven by a 42-year-old man at Evergreen Avenue and New Hyde Park Road, police said.

The Chevrolet overturned in the 1:35 p.m. crash and hit a utility pole, police said.

The 81-year-old man was taken to a hospital for treatment of a knee injury, while the 42-year-old man was admitted to a hospital in stable condition.

Police said no criminal wrongdoing is suspected.
