Nassau police are investigating an early morning shooting at a Roosevelt deli that left two people injured.

The victims, who were not identified by police, were shot at the Nassau Road deli at about 4:24 a.m., police said. One victim was shot four times in the leg and the other once in the foot, police said.

The injuries were not life-threatening, said police, who added that no arrests have been made.

The shooting does not appear to have been part of a robbery, police said.
