Americana Manhasset-area crash kills pedestrian, hurts girl, cops say

A woman pedestrian was killed after she and a girl were struck by a vehicle on Tuesday night in Manhasset, Nassau police said.
They were struck about 7:12 p.m. on Northern Boulevard near the Apple store, a police spokesman said.
The store is on Copley Road and is part of the Americana Manhasset shopping complex.
He said no further details were available.
