2 robbers use gun to steal man's car, wallet in Valley Stream, cops say

A pair of robbers hopped into a man's car and stole his wallet at gunpoint in Valley Stream on Friday, Nassau police said.

The victim, a 36-year-old man, was in the middle of a U-turn on Southgate Road when one robber got into the car through the front passenger's side door and another entered by the rear driver's side door.

The man in the backseat pressed a handgun to the victim's head and told him to put the vehicle in park, hand over his wallet and get out. The victim complied, police said.

The robbers then fled in the car. The victim and his girlfriend found the vehicle a short time later on Rushfield Avenue.
