2 struck, 1 critical in Cedarhurst hit-run
A man was in critical condition and another was being treated for "non-life-threatening injuries" after both were struck by a hit-and-run driver at 3 a.m. Saturday while crossing a street in Cedarhurst, Nassau County police said.
The two were identified only as 21-year-old men. Police said they were walking east on West Broadway when they were hit from behind by the car. The driver continued eastbound on West Broadway, police said. Both victims were taken to an area hospital, police said.
Police asked anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
