2 suspects sought in Hempstead heist
Investigators are looking for two suspects in an armed robbery Sunday afternoon of a Hempstead electronics store and seven customers, Nassau police said.
About 4:42 p.m., two men entered the Metro PCS store, at 133 Fulton Ave. One displayed a handgun and ordered the store's seven customers to the floor, demanding their cash, police said.
The other man collected cash from the customers and two registers, police said.
The men then left the store, running east on Fulton Street.
Neither the seven customers nor the three store employees reported being injured, police said.
