Nassau County police are investigating a robbery that occurred outside a Uniondale self-service laundry on Thursday morning.

Detectives said two unknown male subjects confronted a 22-year-old man outside the Laundry Palace at 1050 Jerusalem Ave. about 11 a.m.

One of the subjects displayed a handgun demanding the victim's property, police said.

The subject with the handgun reached into the victim's pocket and removed an iPhone and then took a chain and pendant from around his neck, police said.

Both subjects fled on the victim's Kawasaki motorcycle southbound on Smith Street, police said.

No injuries were reported, police said.
