Police have arrested a second young teenager in connection with an attack and robbery on May 5 of a woman leaving the Long Island Rail Road Station in Rockville Centre. This time, the suspected robber is 13.

The arrest comes one day after another teen was arrested and charged in the robbery. That youth, a 15-year-old from Rockville Centre, also was charged as a juvenile. Both are charged with second-degree robbery. Arraignment details were not immediately available.

Police said the two teens attacked the 36-year-old woman as she left the station, throwing her to the ground and stealing her cellphone. The woman had cuts and bruises to her face, arms and legs, police said, but was not seriously injured.

Police initially said they believed the robbers were in their late teens or early 20s. It was not clear what led police to the two youths.
