Three men have been arrested and charged with robbing a Massapequa man in his home, Nassau police said Monday.

Police said at 12:17 a.m. Monday, Herman Monroe, 22, of 152 Miller Ave., Amityville, and Dashawn Combs, 25, of 115 44th St. and Louis Hines, 24 of 670 Atlantic St., both in Copiague, entered a Francine Avenue home through an unlocked rear door. Once inside, police said, the three men bound the unidentified victim, 22, and hit him on his head and face. The suspect took two flat-screen TVs, an unknown amount money, jewelry, two iPhones and car keys, and left the scene in the victim's 2010 Nissan, police said.

Suffolk police officers found the suspect on Miller Avenue in Amityville and after an investigation the three were taken into custody. The Nissan was located a short distance away, but the other items were not recovered. The victim, who suffered minor injuries, refused medical assistance at scene.

The suspects were all charged with second degree robbery, second degree burglary and unlawful imprisonment. They will be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead Tuesday.
