3 eastbound LIE lanes reopened at Lake Success exit
Three eastbound lanes of the Long Island Expressway were reopened about 9:30 Sunday night, some 90 minutes after they were closed at Exit 33 due to an auto accident, Nassau police said.
The HOV, left and center lanes had been closed as the accident was investigated and cleared at the Lake Success exit, which leads to Lakeville Road and Community Drive.
The accident, which did not involve any fatalities, occurred about 8:04 p.m., a police spokeswoman said.
