3 hurt in Upper Brookville crash that closed Northern Boulevard

Three men were injured in a morning rush-hour three-car crash that closed Northern Boulevard in Upper Brookville Monday for about two hours.
Old Brookville police said two of the victims were seriously injured. They were transported to Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow and North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset The third victim was taken to Syosset Hospital. None of the injuries were life threatening.
The crash occurred at 7:05 a.m., police said. The road was closed in both directions between Route 107 and Wheatley Road until about 9 a.m.
The crash caused massive traffic backups in the area.
Police said additional details were not immediately available.
