Three men, including one in a Halloween mask, tried to rob a pizza deliveryman in Elmont on Friday night, said Nassau County police.

Detectives say the victim was making a delivery on Stone Street around 11:20 p.m. when the men grabbed him. When he broke free and sounded his car horn, two men ran north and one man south on Stone Street.

One of the would-be robbers wore dark clothing and a Halloween mask, while another wore jeans and a black T-shirt. There was no description of the third man.

Detectives ask anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
