3 robbers steal woman’s purse in Cedarhurst, police say

A woman waiting for the bus in Cedarhurst was robbed by three males, Nassau police said Friday.

She was at Arbuckle Avenue and West Broadway just after 5 p.m. Thursday, when the robbers, one displaying a knife, forced her to give up her purse, police said. The robbers then ran off in an unknown direction, police said.

No injuries were reported, and no further description of the thieves was available, police said.
