Three Queens teens were arrested Monday, charged with strong-arming a taxi cabdriver into handing over cash after he drove them from Jamaica to Elmont, police said.

Nassau County police said the trio were arrested a short time after the 6:48 p.m. robbery, identified by the cabdriver after Fifth Precinct officers spotted the teens on Ridge Road.

Arrested were Jefferson Exantus, 17, of 145-40 Glassboro Ave., Shaquille Rodney, 18, of 115-07 141st St., and Craig Days, 17, of 111-27 Lincoln St. All three were charged with second-degree robbery.

Police said that after the cabdriver drove the teens from Jamaica to Elmont they demanded money -- and one grabbed him by the shirt collar and pulled it tight, choking him.

The driver handed over cash, police said, then called 911 soon after the teens fled the cab.

The three teens all face arraignment Tuesday in First District Court in Hempstead.
