5 arrested in sale of alcohol to minors
Luis Infante, 24, of 190 Redwood Ave., Inwood, and Mohamed Ghazali, 18, of 1170 Nameoke St., Far Rockaway, were arrested at Landmark Deli, 148 Doughty Blvd. in Inwood.
Musa Muflehi, 21, of 6502 Decosta Ave., Far Rockaway, was arrested at Bayview Deli, 414 Bayview Ave. in Inwood.
Patel Jayantibhai, 58, of 11 Lawrence Pky., Lawrence, was arrested at Circle A Foods, 305 Rockaway Tpke. in North Lawrence.
Xuemei Yu, 49, of 105-02 37th Ave., North Corona, Queens, was arrested at John Q Wine and Liquor, 1743 Peninsula Blvd. in Hewlett.
The Nassau County Office of Consumer Affairs assisted the Fourth Precinct with the arrests.
Jayantibhai, Muflehi and Yu are being charged with unlawfully dealing with a child and prohibited sale of an alcoholic beverage.
Infante is being charged with unlawfully dealing with a child, and Ghazali is being charged with fifth-degree criminal solicitation.
They were released and are expected to appear July 18 in First District Court in Hempstead.
